Brad provides strategic asset allocation, investment management consulting, and goals-based financial planning to high-net-worth individuals, families, non-profit organizations, and institutions. He spearheads the team’s efforts to deliver an exceptional client experience through the disciplined wealth management and holistic financial planning processes he has refined over three decades in the industry.

 

Professional Background

 

Brad began his financial services career at Shearson-Lehman Brothers in 1991, where he ranked among the top of his training class and was invited by the firm to serve as mentor for subsequent cohorts of trainees. Later recruited by Chase Manhattan’s investment advisory division, Brad spent several years developing investment strategies for families and not-for-profit associations, as well as trustees of foundations, endowments, and pension plans. In 1996, Brad and several of his Chase Manhattan colleagues established the downtown Washington, D.C. office of A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc., where he ascended to the role of Managing Broker, overseeing the D.C., and later McLean, VA offices. He remained with A.G. Edwards and successor firms Wachovia Securities, and Wells Fargo Advisors until 2018, when his team joined Steward Partners to best serve clients’ needs on an independent, multi-custodial platform.

Community Involvement

 

Brad serves as a Board Member on the University of Virginia College Foundation Benefactor Society. He is involved with the Arlington Community Foundation, where he has held executive roles as President, Finance Committee Chair, and Trustee. Brad also served on the Board and Finance Committee of the Capital Hospice.

 

Personal Life

 

Brad and his wife, Cathy, enjoy spending time at their primary residence in Arlington, VA, and second home in Charlottesville, VA, where they are restoring a house near UVA’s grounds. Outside of work and philanthropy, Brad & Cathy cherish family ski trips, travel with friends, and staying active on the pickleball court.

Professional Focus

 

Brad provides clients with thoughtful investment recommendations based on their unique circumstances. He performs the research and analysis underpinning construction of the team’s advisory portfolios and client tailored allocations. His key responsibilities include conducting due diligence on investment products and asset managers, leading portfolio analysis for current and prospective clients, and monitoring accounts for rebalancing and tax mitigation strategies.

 

Professional Background

 

Prior to joining the Coyle Financial Group in 2017, Brad worked at a boutique Mergers & Acquisitions consulting firm in Cleveland, Ohio, where he advised private equity clients on strategic investment opportunities.

Brad lives in Arlington, VA with his fiancée Caroline. He is an avid skier and has enjoyed trips up and down both coasts and to the French Alps, though his all-time favorite mountain would have to be Aspen Highlands, where he proposed. Outside of the office Brad enjoys reading history, hiking, and trying to correct his golf slice.

As our Client Administrative Manager, Quinn is positioned to support the team in any capacity necessary. Whether it be communicating with clients or ensuring the required paperwork is submitted, Quinn is there to guarantee the client experience is a smooth one.

 

Professional Background

 

Quinn is our Client Administrative Manager at the Coyle Financial Group. He started his career with New York Life, where he was the sole financial professional for numerous clients. Looking to migrate to a supporting role, Quinn joined the Coyle Financial Group in 2023 to assist the team.

 

Education

 

Quinn graduated from the University of Maryland as a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, where he earned his BA in Psychology. He has since received his Life and Health Insurance License, as well as his series 6 and series 63 securities licenses.

 

Personal LIfe

 

When not at work, Quinn can be found reading, running, or at the movies. He loves to spend time with friends and family- especially when it involves golf or football.

Katie currently resides in Arlington, VA where she was born and raised. She spends her free time trying new restaurants, reading, and cooking for friends and family. Katie spent her winter and summer breaks in New England visiting family, and it remains her favorite place to visit.
